ABOUT ABOUT

Crash Course Theatre is back and better than ever! This time they are using theater to raise awareness (and funds) for Alzheimer’s
Tennessee! A Black Box production of David Auburn’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play Proof will be held on May 31st at 7 pm at The Church @ 117, 117 East Fort Street. Proof explores the fine line between creativity and mental illness, and will be presented as a
fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Tennessee.

Catherine is a 27-year-old struggling with the care of her father, a genius mathematician whose mind gradually deteriorated from mental illness. With her sister, Claire, urging Catherine to leave their family home, and an ambitious student searching through her father's notes, Catherine struggles to keep her composure and her sanity in this brilliant piece of theater.

Proof will be presented by Crash Course Theater with a minimalist approach and utilising a mix of staged reading and black box methods.

WARNING: This script is presented unedited with all original language intact. Also, it deals with mature matters, suggested +13.

Proof by David Auburn is being presented as a fundraiser, with fifty percent of all ticket sales benefiting Alzheimer’s Tennessee, a non-profit which serves families living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. It will be performed at The Church @117, 117 East Fort Street, Manchester, TN 37355 on May 31st at 7pm.

Don't miss this opportunity to witness a compelling performance that will leave you questioning the boundaries of sanity and creation. Grab your friends and family, and immerse yourself in an evening of theatrical brilliance!
